Choose the perfect spot
The first thing that you’ll want to do is set the mood! Choose the perfect spot: a bed, a table – wherever your partner will be the most relaxed! Don't forget to put clean, fresh sheets on the bed. Prepare everything that you’ll need to give the perfect massage: massage oil, candles, and essential oils (lavender, sandalwood, geranium, Roman camomile, marjoram, bergamot, ylang-ylang, sweet orange and rose). Create a comfortable atmosphere with soft lighting and relaxing music to put your partner totally at ease.
Start slow
Keep performing slow, regular movements. Don't forget to ask them if they like what you’re doing.
Gradually increase the pressure and speed of your movements according to your partner's wishes. Communication is essential and will help you decide what to do next.
Using special massage techniques
Once your partner is totally relaxed, you can move on to more precise massage techniques that allow you to give a deeper, more intense massage.
- Kneading: Alternately apply pressure and then release the pressure to loosen the knots in your partner’s muscles. Use the palms of your hands to press on your partner's muscles in a circular motion.
- Effleurage: Perform smooth, gliding movements on your partner to relax their muscles.Glide your hands over your partner's muscles with gentle pressure.
- Tapotement: Perform light, fast, percussive movements to stimulate and awaken muscles. Gently tap your partner's muscles with the edge of your hand, a cupped hand, or the tips of your fingers, using moderate pressure.
You can also target specific parts of your partner's body, like their feet.
